Opening Your OmniStand 500

To avoid injury and damage to the product, please do not use sharp knives or box cutters. Only use a strong pair of scissors when opening the package.

Mounting your iPad2 or iPad3 in the Kiolink OmniStand500 & 700 case/shell

Due to temperature changes during production, storage and transportation, a very small percentage of the cases/shells may slightly shrink. By design, our cases/shells are made to fit tightly so the iPad2/ iPad3 locks securely in place and does not fall out when in use, particularly in hot climate. Pushing the case/shell, especially the edges, with your hands outward (like trying to flatten the lid of a shoe box) will help the case/shell to relax its shrinkage memory, allowing the iPad2/iPad3 to fit in the case/shell. Remember to do this before attaching the handle or stand. If shrinkage is more than normal or you are in cold climate and the iPad2/iPad3 still does not perfectly fit, place the empty case/shell without the handle or stand upside down (white plastic facing up) in a microwave oven and heat it for one minute and thirty seconds on high, causing the plastic to expand and allowing the iPad2/iPad3 to fit. You must install your iPad2/iPad3 immediately when case/shell is still warm. After you heat the shell in microwave oven and install your iPad2/iPad3 in it, let it cool down for few hours to allow the case/shell to settle before removing your iPad2/iPad3 from the case/shell. When inserting the iPad2/iPad3 inside the case/shell, always slide the camera side first and then the opposite side. Firmly push your iPad2/iPad3 in the case/shell near the edges with your thumbs and pull up the edges of the case/shell over the iPad2/iPad3 aluminum frame with your other fingers. Do this around the periphery as needed until the lips of the rubber inlay catches beveled aluminum edges of the iPad2/iPad3. Be sure when you do this, the case/shell is detached from handle or stand.

Be sure to periodically re-secure your iPad2 or iPad3 into the rubber inlay to prevent falling and damage.

Inserting your iPad

To ensure a proper secure fit, slide your iPad2 or iPad3 into the frame top end (the end with the camera) first, like you would slide your foot into a shoe. Then gently press the bottom end into the frame until you feel the iPad2 or iPad3 snap gently into place.
